FINALLY THE YURI IS NOT DOOMED Oml this is such an underrated wlw film  Vivian and Cay have insane chemistry  Vivian in general is just adorable she’s shy reserved and uncomfortable in the new environment and Cay just takes her on adventures. Also Cay you absolute mad lad move in the hotel room my respects. Bathtub scene got me crashing out HARD. When they both get on the train my heart was literally exploding because it was an unambiguous happy future.

Not sure if this was appropriate breakfast entertainment but went in blind and WHY IS IT DOOMED YURI???? Can I never escape? That aside the twist of the first half being entirely Diane’s coping mechanism/dream about losing Camila to Adam is actually brilliant. I too would crash out and literally make my ex girlfriend who leaves me for a man a blank slate while torturing said man in my maladaptive dream. Loved the waitress parallel at the diner. Insane stunts and physical prowess by Charlise Theron. She is probably the best female action star in Hollywood right now. Villain was lowk boring until the cannibal cave reveal so points for that. In general a good movie to pass the time but as a thriller goes, nothing special other than the majestic location shots and pure physicality.
