I’m honestly relieved I didn’t dislike this film nor its existence because it does ultimately come off as they had an actual story/sentiment to tell despite how obvious its existence screams cashgrab. And I did ultimately like and feel satisfied at how this film resolved itself However this is easily the messiest and convoluted storyline of any **Toy Story **film, despite how much smaller this narrative is in scale compared to the other sequels. But my biggest issue with this film is that the way its conflicts and plot lines move forward feel so forced and unnatural. It relies too much on coincidences and there’s a pivotal moment here that felt so forced/illogical to me that i was honestly baffled it turned out the way it did. The way toys are able to communicate with each other across long distances and the reason why Woody comes back also felt so incredibly unnatural. Also his reunion with Buzz and the other toys felt shockingly hollow, I legit felt nothing. And the toys this time take **UNBELIEVABLE** risks that would so easily get them spotted by people Again, the characters’ and story’s resolution ultimately left me satisfied and I was never bored. There was 1 particular moment 2/3 through the way that was honestly super touching and emotionally effective to me. I did ultimately had a good time with this I just wish the way the film’s payoffs didn’t feel so forced

12 year old me thought this was one of the coolest and inventive things in the world and he was right
