Prisoners

This had me on the edge of my seat the entire run time, glued to my screen. Denis is absolutely amazing and is slowly creeping his way up my favorite directors, this film isn’t as visually stunning and it doesn’t use sound in the ways Denis is amazing with but it still delivers. It’s emotional while still having great action scenes and truthfully I did not know what was going to happen at the end, although the very last scene was very predictable but the way it ended on a mysterious note was great. Hugh and Jake are also both amazing in this film and Hugh steals the show and is incredible at showing every single emotion possibly throughout the run time. Overall a great movie, one of the best thrillers I have seen.
