Skyfall
Diary Entry #125 of 2025

Skyfall is certainly a darker bond film but I think it excels a lot more at what it’s trying to do. For starters I think visually this is the strongest so far especially in that last 1/3. I also think Javier Bardem delivers on of the most chilling villain performances in the franchise and one of the most compelling as well. I also found the story to be very engaging for the most part. I don’t have too many thoughts on Skyfall and I still think Casino Royale is clear and away the best so far but Skyfall is a great improvement from Quantum.
