very fun movie to have in the background while we did arts and crafts after dinner. nothing like seeing kiki experience burnout and figure out a work life balance on valentine’s day.  i wonder what ghibli movie we can watch next valentine’s day.

we were robbed of the transition from ariana grande to cynthia erivo screaming “FIYEROOOO” at the beginning of No Good Deed and the I’m Not That Girl to As Long As You’re Mine transition.  jon m chu did as much as he could with the mess that is Act 2 of Wicked. it definitely was executed better. although, we did notice how out of place the new songs felt. (looking at you girl in the bubble being in the middle of march of the witch hunters)  yes yes it could have been gayer. like glinda and elphaba could have kissed during for good (they were so close though!). but also, elphaba has two hands?  anyways, good but not as much as the first one (even though this one has the better songs imo)
