The Spiderwick Chronicles
masterpiece, dont intrupt me guys, this is the old-school fantasy adventure movie I’ve been craving all this time. everything feels magical (i never expected it) and the message behind it is also profound “Learn to face change in life.” if i watch this when i was a kid i guess i might be rewatched this hundred times.
i feel like I experience everything while watching this the adventure, the fantasy, the emotions, the nostalgia, and even the coming-of-age journey of the characters, it brings my inner child to life again. its just perfect except ending monsternya yang mati krn dimakan pas jdi burung, im expecting more than that, but its okay its funny thought.
aunt Lucinda’s ending is also very heartbreaking. her life had already been filled with suffering after she was diagnosed as insane because she claimed her father had been kidnapped by fairies (which is true but peoples dont believe it) and she hadn’t seen him for 80 years. fortunately, they were reunited and lived happily ever after in the fairy world.
"Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist."
