Parasite

This was my first Korean film and i really enjoyed it. The visuals were amazing and it for sure looked like a movie even though its pretty new. The weather played a huge part in storytelling and was a great metaphor. I loved the casting everyone was different, mysterious and interesting in their own way. The guy from basement (no idea about Korean names sr) looked so fckn scary and frightening exactly how the crazy guy would be imagined. Personally, I’m not a fan of the ending and how it kinda ruined the meaning behind the movie. The whole time their greed and need for money was criticized, critique of the cult of wealth and the prioritization of money over moral values can be easily seen. You expect in every moment that a disaster is close. The movie ends with kind of a good ending (not in general because of daughter) and shows that it was really just to push the young man forward which i didn’t appreciate at all. Overall: very nice 89/100
