Perfect Days
Saw this movie followed by a live q&a with Wim Wenders and Koji Yakusho and during the q&a Wenders spoke about being inspired by Tokyo and the people there but even so, Perfect Days felt so universal and relatable.
The monotony of daily life and the little routines we have, it just felt so real and natural. The fact that the right song, the right sip of coffee, and a nice sunrise could make your day perfect felt so freaking relatable.
Koji Yakusho has such an expressive face, I loved every moment of the little window he gave us into Hirayama’s life.
