Saving Private Ryan

I’m probably the last person in the world to watch this movie, and I avoided it for a long time because I didn’t think it would live up to the hype but WOW. It so did. I’m so happy I never saw any spoilers because this was an experience! I can see saving private ryan’s influence in every war movie that came after it but the original and first is so much better than its imitators. I haven’t seen many Spielberg films and I’m trying to remedy that now so I’m just blown away by his direction and the magnitude and scope of this. Obviously the opening scene will stay with me for a while but apart from that the cast! Wowowowow! Every actor was sooooo good and ugh I will miss them all.
