Sunset Boulevard

Finally watching this movie was crazy because I finally understood so many references. The legacy of it alone was enough to make me watch it but it was so fucking good. I cared so much about the story, it had my attention immediately.  Apart from Norma Desmond, the character I can’t stop thinking about is Max. He is so tragic and fascinating. Totally devoted to Norma and ultimately maybe largely responsible for her. Ugh what a good fucking picture! I will now be adding every Billy Wilder movie to my watchlist. 😭😭😭😭😭
