Saltburn

So unexpected. Utterly incredible. I adored all The Shining references, such as the maze and use of the camera following the character. Raw, and incredibly real. Parts where you feel love, and desire, and others where gagging is expected.  First off, the camera work immediately stood out to me. I loved all the subtle hints at the love of Felix from ‘Ollie’. Oliver’s utter lust and raw/human feelings for Felix show the complexity and beauty of this film. I had expected odd scenes, but was surprised on their importance and beauty. All amazing performances, and such a brilliant cast. I wish I could write more but I’m super tired. God this film enticed me all the way through. The raw beauty makes me feel unlike any movie I have seen before. I know this may sound cheesy, but it was more of an experience than a film. Beautiful characters and script, with an excellent score. Somehow exceeded my very high expectations. This is a must watch for any movie goer, or average person. God, this film is perfect.
