Frankenstein
This was such a beautiful movie…
I’ve been so interested in Frankenstein these past few months after watching Frankenstein (1931). I also used to watch youtube videos talking about the different povs from Victor and his creation, and that was so beautifully shown in this movie.
I personally love stories about a person falling into madness, i always think it’s so interesting and fascinating to see or read.
I really felt so sad for the creature. The only word he was able to say was “Victor” because that was the only word taught to him with love…ugh that breaks my heart.
Victor finally telling he is sorry and his creation forgiving him was soooo beautiful, it made me feel at ease. Victor also calling him his son…oh my god..this is cinema.
Also this movie captured the vibe so well. I can’t explain this feeling, while i was watching that movie i really felt something. Like…it was maybe a bit unsettling and even eerie at some point but definitely not in a bad way…?
Movies rarely give me that kind of feeling but i love it when they do, it makes it feel so real. A good example being Bones and All.
The acting performance was so outstanding. They were able to show off every emotion so well. I hope they win an oscar or oscars!!
I look forward to reading the book…since i haven’t had the opportunity to do that yet…
