“I wrote this with like 45 minutes left, and honestly? it’s such a sleek cop thriller. I LOVE it so much. Andy Lau… TT sir pls. Just finished it, and yeah, I still feel the same. Scorsese’s ending is definitely more dramatic, but the OG is sooo good and kinda gave Heat vibes. In a nutshell, the OG is less drama, more tension, and it really sticks to the core conflict. Scorsese’s version brings in more drama, and that ending… ugh, so good. I honestly can’t pick. Both hit differently but both do it so well in their own style.
