Prisoners

“Where’s my daughter, where’s my daughter.” This is my favorite movie of all time for a good reason because you never really get to chill while watching it and you are always thinking about what is going to happen next. Jake Gyllenhaal plays his detective role well and he always seems to play characters that are kind of messed up no matter the movie but he is really good at it. Hugh Jackman plays a father who is completely losing his mind trying to figure out what happened to his daughter and that whole situation feels hectic the entire time. There is tension all the way through and you never really know what direction the story is going to take. The ending is brutal and that is a big reason why this movie has always stuck with me.
