Yorgos Lanthimos' filmmaking has done it again. The StonePlemons duo is capable, yet again, of developing a dark satire, questioning the entire plot with an elocuent narrative from Jesse's character. The societal polarization towards conspiracy theories has emerged due to the internet, allowing vulnerable people to believe what they want to hear, despite being proven wrong. Currently, small private groups have started to be formed to dismantle governamental lies or, as it is exposed here, plans made by external entities which can communicate through their hair. PS: If Emma Stone told me that she is not an alien, I would wholeheartedly agree with her (And if she kidnaps me to use me as a human experiment, I won't say no either).
