Fist my bump! One star down because I generally just don’t enjoy sci-if, it’s always somewhat boring to me. But this was phenomenal. I had maddog explaining the science and I feel like, based on what I know, I really liked how realistic they made the science. Like aliens would probably be amoeba rather than full humanoid creatures. And it was really cool to try and understand how everything was working.

Cute, funny, fun. Mark ruffalo does a great Trump impression, the aliens were cute. Robert Pattinson hot. There could've been an awesome foursome but Kai wasn't cool like that . . .

Rewatching was awesome. You really get to pick up on all the small things that contribute to their character interpretations (Summer is always ahead of Tom, I can't remember the rest but there were a lot). I think this movie is really beautiful if you are able to relate to both Tom and Summer. Like for me I am a Tom, I idealize and romanticize and fail to recognize the reality of relationships, and so this movie is devastating. But also, to be able to appreciate Summer like in the fact that she is allowed to change her mind on what she wants because she's human. This is moving up to one of my favs I think, I wish I could create more cohesive, articulated thoughts but I fell asleep right after watching.

Could’ve been so much better like I feel like some parts were so cheesy already done and I get that it’s a kids movie but I think maybe I was just expecting more. Dunno but I loved Will and Jett they were really well done characters
