Probably one of Kubrick's more 'human' works, if you get what I mean. A haunting exploration of war and its consequences. That execution scene was gold!

'Tis but a scratch!

It's crazy how Sidney Lumet made a movie about 12 men arguing in a room one of the most entertaining movies I've ever seen. It's exciting, thrilling, and spectacular with its use of dialogue. Every character is brought to life with every snappy line. Unpredictable too, with no warning of any twist that turns the case upside down. I have never seen something like this before, and it is AMAZING.

Orson Welles managed to capture the Kafkaesque-ness of The Trail so incredibly well!!! Weird angles, trippy chase sequences, the giant monotonous office!!! This director is absolutely genius.
