Red Rooms

Such a dark topic that was explored in an unconventional way, through the eye of an obsessed stranger/spectator which really made the film more unique and attention grabbing in the way it handles it's heavy subject. A very interesting complicated main character we have here, her motivations are vague/intriguing and you're left wondering what really her intentions were but that just adds all to the compelling themes that this film has. The way that it's easily as shocking and disturbing as other french extremity horror films without even showing anything is truly admirable. It's a captivating look at how we humans engage with true crime and it's pretty accurate too.
