“Pressing engagement” prolly the best pun in the whole series.  Now let’s talk about Goldfinger’s miniature Fort Knox and the incredibly elaborate system built for a one time performance for 10 guys who he is just going to kill if they don’t join him! Not only did he spare no expense but the film didn’t either. That had to be one of the most laborious parts of making this movie. Really just a wonderful thing to consider.

Is Ruprecht the funniest name ever conceived? I could listen to Michael Caine saying “Ruprecht” in alternating stern and pleading tones over and over again.

Jacques Demy level color palate and the cast are all having a total blast. Except Beatty who really should have cast someone else. I get that he wanted to fuck Madonna though.

This is subversive stuff Kimosabi. The blondes run the show, kill the bad guys, figure out what’s going on, fly the planes, have the best dialogue, and just generally kick ass for the whole movie. Fun shit.
