Everything in this movie was somewhat great: the acting, the backgrounds, the narrative etc. etc. BUT at the end of the day, it's not the odyssey. 4 stars because it was entertaining and it was time someone made a movie about one of the most important epic poems of all time. Now I'm waiting for a movie about the Eneid! ☺️

I watched this, thinking it was about a girl named Isabelle like me. Turns out she had like 5 minutes of screen time and died in the first 15 minutes of the movie. It's not everyday that a character has my name and is not an asshole, so I'm at least happy for that. During the movie, I cringed several times for many things, however the grief Jill felt was genuine. I like how the movie didn't entirely focus on Jill's love life but also her job, her grief and her life in general. 2 stars and a half because it made me uncomfortable of gen z this movie was (in a bad way)

2 stars just because I liked the vibes of this movie. I would have given more if Poirot hadn't had his head above the clouds for most of the time. How do you manage to insult and blame everyone for the murder, imagining thousands of scenarios but never actually THINKING for ONE second that the person with the actual motive to kill the victim was actually the murderer??? I expected more out of an Agatha Christie inspired movie, but I can't really say anything else because I've never read any novel she's written. Also, one thing that pissed me off was how much screen time was given to Simon Doyle humping Jaqueline, and then Linnet. Like it was so bad omg they looked like Nara Smith's ancestors 😭😭😭

This is probably one of the best movies I have seen all year. It was so good not only it made me like the sci-fi genre, but it also made me regret missing all the projections of this movie in my town's cinema. If you don't know what to watch, this is the perfect movie to pass the time. Plus, it has an amazing alien representation (they look like aliens for once, not like tall anthropomorphic blue super humans). If this movie has 0 fans, I'm dead, floating in space somewhere near Tau Ceti.
