Unbreakable

I won’t lie, I was blinded by public opinion that M. Night Shyamalan makes “bad” movies but Unbreakable had me so engaged. The characters, the cinematography, and the relatability among these characters were great to see. The movie was pretty bleak in tone at the beginning but it became hopeful around the end, the score and performances in the breakfast scene with David and his son made me emotional. Shout out to these grounded superhero stories, my favorite genre of movies to watch
