Cure

I'll be honest that I didn't enjoy the first half of this film. It felt quite predictable, and to me I had already figured out what would happen. Well, I was completely wrong. The hospital scene is where it all shifted for me. I felt as if the film was about to end, but I paused it and saw I was barely under halfway. Oh boy That reevoked my interest in this film. The second half was quite spectacular, unsettling, and an all around vibe that I really did not expect, given the fact that, at least to me, the first half felt like every other murder mystery film from the time, like Se7en or films like that. This did a really good job existing uniquely on its own.
