**katie douglas you will be reincarnated as a lotus flower. 🪷** this movie always makes me ugly cry. it breaks my heart when i think about the people that didn’t believe her and how such cases are still happening. Katie Douglas as always does a phenomenal job with the emotional roles she takes on and i need more people to take her seriously.

i feel like this wanted to be a really good film but then it just wasnt. The exposition is a little lengthy but i DO enjoy a good mindfuck, which is this films expertise. Personally, I think it just loses a lot of credit when im not really sure of what the mirror is and why the mirror behaves this way + why is the sister doing this in the first place. Her motivation of showing the kids in school or proving everyone wrong feels so weak compared to the violence she knows the mirror is capable of. It seems like it takes a minute for the mirror’s presence to grow so i would've set the fail safe up immediately and left the house. like why am i making a youtube vlog?
