Papicha
'Papicha' a magnificent inspiring phenomenal movie about women in algeria its true that the events happened in the 90's but the girls in this country are still suffering from the same shit because of the same ppl the only difference between them is they are jst not holding guns anymore. Women in algeria are afraid for their lifes evrytime they step outside jst like in the movie.
The good cinematography in this movie successfully captured the amazing algerian vibes, algerian women live evryday.
The main character 'nejma' is incredibly strong that doesn't know giving up, which is the averege of women's personality here, she had nothing in this world but elhayek in her hands, pins in her mouth, a traumatizing memory in her mind and a dream to fullfill with her beautiful freinds just to prove her enemies wrong.she tried her best, failed more than once but kept living in the land she loves for the land she loves.Algeria is a beautiful land where everyone is supposed to be wild and free bc this is how our very old generations lived but unfortunately this is not the reality bc right now we are living with egoist monsters who are built jst to ruin other ppl's lifes.
Ive always dreamt of studying in algiers and for some reason this movie jst keeps inspiring me to study there or even in a forgein country.
The cinematography is good the soundtrack could never be better. I really love the song "zina" by "Raina ray" and I loved it even more bc of this movie.
I could never shut up about how perfect the vibes are.
I love you my country but i cant stand your ppl any more so i have to leave and i really feel bad bc i have to.
