Adolescence
Incredibly powerful and haunting. Equally exceptional due to the shooting style and how they managed to pull off each episode with one single take. More media like this should have priority, especially with the way current issues are explored with such a brutally nuanced perspective. This miniseries does not shy away from showing audiences just how quickly a seemingly innocent mind can be influenced to do such horrific and disturbing acts by the internet, peer pressure, or the need to feel or be more like whatever the sickening ideas of what a "man" should be that is so often spread by the wrong people. This miniseries is so very powerful and should be used as an alarm for today's youth culture.
I also couldn't help but wonder if the creators ever considered putting all four takes of each episode together to make one long film rather than a miniseries. It works fine the way it is but I feel like it would have been just as interesting to have a four-hour long feature film where each hour was one long take. However, a film might have not been great for viewers' attention spans, so it makes perfect sense why they executed it this way.
