TIFF 2024: Primetime (World Premiere) A dynamic and unique series of stories which all have a connection. I admired the immersive style of how each episode revealed another piece to the puzzle of what is going on, and how each character connects with the other. Although the screening only showed three episodes of the seven part show, they were enough to reveal what the audience was experiencing. Getting to see my idol Alfonso Cuarón onstage afterwards was a surreal experience, as was running into director Denis Villeneuve among the audience with me as we were walking out, and getting to express my admiration to him personally. Suffice to say, falling asleep on the train, missing my stop at Toronto, being forced to order an Uber 30 minutes away from the theatre and being late to the start was all still well worth it for this screening!
