INTERSTICE
It’s been a while since I’ve seen a horror this good.
It’s very rare when a movie conveys repressed guilt and grief in a manner that is realistic and terrifying. Interstice does just this in the span of FOUR MINUTES. Through beautiful cinematography, outstanding editing, and miraculous acting, Interstice explores the subconscious of a young man dealing with the accidental death of his best friend as he becomes the subject of a magic show.
I never thought I’d find a comparison for my favourite horror film of all time, Hereditary, but now I have found it. Interstice does to magicians what Jaws did to sharks, made us utterly terrified of them. The reasons I took one star off were because this genius cinematic masterpiece deserved to be much longer, and I wished I could have been part of the tiresome and fun-filled production that it took to make this. Hats off to you, the crew of Interstice, you made a damn good horror flick. 🫡
