I really forgot I was supposed to be watching a horror movie in several parts of it. Things pick up in the last 30 minutes but the entirety maintains fun dream scapes, nostalgic sets, and a great soundtrack. Someone in the reviews I liked for this movie mentioned seeing a movie that’s so up your alley, you’re almost peeved that you’re so predictable and I have to agree. My eyes rolled so hard with 8 minutes left knowing I would make this movie part of my personality. Being born in the 90s I missed a lot of movies from decades earlier but I love the fuzziness of the cinematography, it’s how I imagine Agatha Christie and Boxcar Children books. I can’t believe it took me so long to rewatch.  Hooptober X
