i watched this and realized 2 hrs in that there was not a single moment where I thought "oh that's bob dylan" and not "oh that's timothee chalamet playing bob dylan"... don't get me wrong i think timmy is a fine actor but I can't wait to see what he does in the next 5-10 years, but this role was not it for me also edward norton pete seeger actually was much more well-done imo, but i didn't like the writing as much

oh i love that fight choreo... everything else is not doing key huy quan justice tho this was like one episode of a formulaic series, which I would watch but not as a movie i think

me watching something with a kind of realist style "this feels very edward yang yiyi" anyways this was wonderfully done, lots of space for the environment and characters which is exactly what this needed. the end lost me a little bit but that's alright beautiful intimacy and really enthralls you in the city living compared to the village

probably not necessary to watch before GBU but it's a neat proof of concept and could build up anticipation for the triple standoff, the ends always hit hard
