Midsommar
Rewatching Midsommar feels like willingly stepping back into a nightmare that takes place in broad daylight.
Florence Pugh is incredible her grief is so heavy, even in the brightest fields of flowers, you can feel it choking her. Watching her try to hold it together while the world around her stops pretending to care is brutal.
This time I paid more attention to details I didn’t noticed the first time I watched, I noticed how much silence there is between the screaming. The tension builds not with jump scares but with glances, rituals, and that overwhelming feeling that something isn’t right, even when everything looks beautiful.
