Why do i enjoy character studies so much? There’s something so entertaining and enlightening about delving into the psyche of deranged characters. It might be morbid curiosity, or the realisation that their madness is just a direct reflection of a rotting, indifferent society. Maybe it’s just the hypnotic mood this movie carries unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, or the endless depth and interpretation this film offers. But it’s probably just because it’s such an incredible fucking vibe.
