this movie was truly a media literacy test and everybody that didnt like it failed. without any spoilers, what makes this film an absolute masterpiece is its restraint and deep trust in exactly that. the story communicates almost entirely through layerered nonverbal language and heavy visual metaphors. what makes the writing so masterfully crafted is how it lays its entire foundation right away. the story is actually completely clear within the first half an hour through foreshadowing while not giving away the plot at all, then building upon it perfectly with every scene after. the insanely impressive amount of detail packed into every single frame shows incredible dedication to how it was made. seemingly random objects sprinkled around like easter eggs that deepen crucial parts of the story for anyone actually paying attention. its literally a question of how much are you locked in = how much you'll enjoy the movie. without it being exhausting. everything in here regarding cinematography, understated/hidden visual motifs, and quiet thematic threads was IMMACULATE and i truly cannot put my appreciation of it into words. there are such ball knowledge culture references sprinkled throughout that add so much excitement. the writing leaves zero plot holes while still leaving plenty of room for interpretation and theory. this is a groundbreaking 5/5 stars experience that respects its audience and proves that we have not lost dedication to high art as film. i have so much more to say but i truly hope this will be studied for years in end and i CANNOT wait to see future projects from this goat.

what the fuck. i genuinely want to write more but i cant
