Elle

Lexi was amazing as Elle, and recreated her so well it made the show. Felt a bit too modern for a 90s throwback, the LA scenes felt nostalgic but everything else was too modern. The main issue is it’s hard to believe Elle goes through the exact development she goes through in the film in high school as well, as why would she get that character growth in high school to then revert back, feels like it takes away from her growth and character in the film. Liked what they were trying to do to show elles interest in law however the character in the show gives the impression she would choose that path over fashion, and the way she discovers law in the film is kinda the main plot.
