Blindspotting

Had to wait a while to write this review because I didn’t even know what to say, but I knew straight away it was my favourite film of 2018. It tackled race, gun violence and gentrification in a much cleverer and more complex way than anything else I’ve seen. I adored the visuals, the mildly surrealistic style and the soundtrack. The spoken word poetry/rap towards the end was exquisite. I seriously haven’t been able to stop thinking about this.
