I LOVE IT!! It's like a reflection of reality with the whole Nietzsche's Superman (Übermensch) idea. From what I understand, Nietzsche didn’t mean that some people are naturally superior because of race or anything like that. He was more talking about how most people just live by inherited beliefs without questioning them, and someone who thinks for themselves and lives according to their own values could be seen as more developed in that sense. But that idea historically got twisted(?), the Nazis used it. Rupert’s ending speech made me think of that, especially when he realizes Brandon basically used his ideas to play God and murder someone. Great fucking movie
