I'm a hypocrite, I cried during this film as if I didn't have a serious phone addiction

The Amazing Domestic Abuse! It's not perfect, far from it, and in fact, it wastes thousands of opportunities. But, undeniably, it's a beautiful series; the animation improves with each episode. Unfortunately, the writing tries to do far more than it can handle. It's full of interesting characters who don't quite stand out enough, and they really deserve to. I can see how the author constantly projects herself onto the work, both in her characters and their situations, but her favoritism towards... a certain character who doesn't even need explaining... I truly adore the characters EXCEPT... Jax. It's one of those works that only the internet can give us, touching on many of people's obsessions, such as certain psychological aspects of isolation, a semi-childlike aesthetic, and some visuals reminiscent of backrooms. Furthermore, it's one of those profoundly human works, exploring community and individualism, achieving a representation of the human condition in the digital context. I find the AI throughout the work interesting; Caine, at the end of the day, is an AI that learns every day but possesses immense power that, if mishandled, can spiral out of control. This creates a relationship between humans and technology. I find the dehumanization and depersonalization of the characters striking. For example, when Jax wants to kill all his classmates, it's like a representation of how we forget how to treat people online and simply minimize them through this medium. Jax simply doesn't care because it's not real. There are many analogies throughout the work, but I repeat, it tries to have more depth than it can, although visually it succeeds; its writing falters. Honestly, it had too much lore to delve deeply into the circus story, which ended up being very flat and simplistic, and characters who could have been more human but ended up abandoned. *Note: The 2/5 rating is for this episode, not the series as a whole. This review, however, is dedicated to the series. *
