Body Double

The essence of the '80s distilled into its purest form, a trashy erotic thriller. Might be the greatest film ever? De Palma only makes hitters. Acts as both a parody and a loving homage to Hitchcock. The sleazy, horny, depraved netherworld that is LA is wonderfully rendered in all its disgusting glory here. Bit of a sicko black comedy aswell. Illogical as all hell, and all the better for it. I walked out of the theatre a changed man tonight.
