Missing Persons
i did it, i found something more obscure than 2007's Race
but while I loved the shit out of that one, this, this was hard to watch
one of the strangest movies ive ever seen
i understand completely why it's essentially been memoryholed from the public (even if it was never remotely popular, having only appeared a couple times at some indie film festivals back in the day)
i gotta give the O'Donnell twins some credit though, singlehandedly (or rather duohandedly) crafting a feature length 3d animated film using your own in-house software is a technical achievement, with a unique visual style thats very reminiscent of retro comic books
but man oh man nothing about this film makes sense at all
and i love when filmmakers revel in the absurd, but here it's done to the detriment of the viewer. it's confusing, abrasive, it features baby death by sugar (perhaps one of the greatest scenes in film history), it's got some wacky robot, and boy oh boy it's a mess
uhhhh no alien boobs aswell 👎
