This film is breathtaking. Some of the shots are just incredible and awe-inspiring. The sheer magnitude and scale alone is a sight to behold. The vistas are beautiful, the scenes in the emperor’s palace had me blown away. The use of colour is outstanding. The scene with the green curtains…if you’ve seen the movie you know what I’m talking about. Action sequences are incredibly well choreographed and the soundtrack is utilised effectively. Quintessential Chinese Wuxia Movie. TONY LEUNG IS MY STRAIGHT CRUSH
