Ran

40th Anniversary showing at Somerville Theater! Man what an experience. What a journey. Feels like you lived a whole life full of every emotion and sensation in 160 minutes. I’m so glad my first experience was on the big screen.  Every time the movie tried to lose me, it brought me back in with the most jaw dropping visuals you could see.  With my watches of Seven Samurai and now Ran, I think I’d watch Kurosawa follow around horses forever.
