Civil War
I think the insistence by viewers for this film to take a stance only reinforces the genius of Garland's apoliticality (if thats even a word). To alienate either side of the political spectrum would not only be disingenuous to the objectivity of the film's journalistic lens, but would lessen the strength of the overbearingly anti-war sentiment. As soon as we are given the ability to point fingers, the focus is shifted from preventing this very scenario from taking root and instead deepens those political divisions that we are called on to amend.
