By and large the greatest biopic ever made. Connects so many genres and styles of filmmaking mixed with Spike Lee’s flair and it all works in just a way that doesn’t feel like it should but it does. Powerful beyond powerful. My only gripe is that Spike Lee likes to be in his own movies and he just. isn’t a good actor lmao, it’s especially jarring whenever he’s in a scene with Denzel Washington, who is nothing short of fantastic and was absolutely snubbed of an Oscar
