Full Metal Jacket

What an absolutely amazing war movie I was genuinely blown away by how much I loved this. When talking about this movie I can split it into two parts the first part when they are on the island training and the second half after the island when they go to Vietnam. The opening scene was absolutely amazing it perfectly set the tone for the rest of the movie and Vincent D’Onofrio was absolutely amazing and the scene where he snapped was so well performed and honestly shocked me so much. Now the second half of this movie was also great it was shot so well and it felt like you were in the action and the ending of the movie staring into the camera was such a brilliant way to end the movie. The soundtrack in this movie was also absolutely amazing each song perfectly selected and fit the tone this movie was very entertaining and Kubricks direction was an absolute masterpiece.
