Hawkeye

Note: I wrote this review on word after every episode and copy and pasted it here after the entire show was finished so you see my initial opinions on each episode whilst I was watching it so that’s why my thoughts seem very wild Ep 1-I loved that they opened back in 2012 and that we get to see more of the damage caused by the avengers trying to save the day. Also the animated title sequence showing Kate training and learning archery was really good. Rogers the musical was a fun little bit whilst showing to us that Clint is suffering the after effects of end game mainly Nats death and the “Thanos Was Right” written in the bathroom was a nice little detail. I like that everyone treats Clint differently since he’s idolised as a hero and you can tell he doesn’t feel like a hero due to his time as Ronin and maybe even because he couldn’t save his best friend also I’m pretty sure Clint is wearing the hearing aid because of the explosion at the avengers compound. I like that Kate wears the ronin suit ending up on the news which Clint then sees. I love the way Clint and Kate meet at the end of the episode the only problem I really have after the first episode is they didn’t focus too much on Clint and I hope in future episodes Clint gets a bit more focus not that I have a problem with Kate but Clint deserves more focus. Ep 2-From the start of this episode they sete up this dynamic between Clint and Kate with Kate pretty much fan girling over him and I absolutely love it. Clint as always is one of the nicest avengers helping someone he doesn’t even know. Also i wasn’t technically wrong about what caused Hawkeye to need a hearing aid. So far I’m absolutely loving this show I’m loving seeing Clint in the spotlight and I’m loving Kate bishop as a new character in the MCU can’t wait for the next 4 episodes  Ep 3-At the start of this episode we are introduced to a younger version of echo now all I really wanna say about it or point out is the fact that she asks if dragons are real and her father replies with they live on another world or something like this now I’m gonna guess this is a reference to Ta-Lo in Shang Chi. OMG her uncle…KINGPIN!!!!! Technically what he says about Nat killing Ronin isn’t a lie since she’s the reason he stopped being ronin. I like this POV we keep getting of what echo hears compared to everyone else and even Clint after his hearing aid is smashed. This action scene of them escaping the tracksuits is just making me love Clint even more. I love these trick arrows especially that what Pym tech arrow. Comic accurate suit drawing don’t mind if I do would love to see it but doubt we will. We’re halfway through the series and so far I’m absolutely loving it this dynamic between clint and Kate is just amazing and so fun to watch and this shows just so fun and action packed. Ep 4-My guess before starting this episode is that Yelena is gonna appear either in this one of the next. I’m still loving this dynamic between Clint and Kate I think it’s done really well in a comedic and entertaining way. The scene between Clint Kate Jack and Eleanor is such a good scene I thought Jack thanking Clint for saving the world was brilliant. Clearly this watch they stole is actually more important than I thought. I love that Kate feels bad about Clint missing out on Christmas with his family so she try’s to help him feel better and enjoy Christmas. Clint has some kind of ronin PTSD. Who’s Rolex is it? Is that Yelena…? Second time Clint has let a woman fall off a ledge. YELENA!!!!!!!!!! I knew it! I’m absolutely loving this show so much and it just gets better every episode.  Ep 5-OMG straight into this episode shows us A) Yelena was dusted but most importantly B) What it was like to get dusted and when you return how you see everything how it was left before it changes around you that was so cool! I love how kind yelena is to Kate and how nice she is it’s so fun our future Black Widow and Hawkeye already having a cute and fun relationship. I love the memorial for where the avengers first assembled. KINGPIN YESSSSSSSS! I loved this episode so much the duo of Kate and yelena was brilliant Ronin returning and the fight scene brilliant and the end KINGPIN!  Ep 6-I know we saw him at the end of last episode but it’s so great watching Fisk at the start of this episode. Awww he called her his partner. I wonder if Fisk tower will end up being old avengers tower. She’s telling Clint about what she felt like In 2012 that’s just so amazing they’re connection is getting stronger and this is perfect after a scene of them making trick arrows together. I’m glad I watched Die Hard last night because I feel like this episode is gonna give off massive die hard vibes. And now Yelena is here she better team up with Clint, Clint needs to tell her what really happened to Nat. Wait is jack gonna become swordsman and help? Love the elevator scene with Kate and Yelena our future Hawkeye and black widow. That tracksuit thanking Kate was brilliant but then SWORDSMAN. Is it just me or is that LARP guy dressed like Gilgamesh. More pym arrows with a nice little reference to Scott. These fights between Kate and Fisk,Yelena and Clint, and Kazi and Maya are all so good and just amazing. That scene between Kate and Clint talking about Nat was so heartfelt and emotional and just perfect. There’s no way kingpin is dead he’s still alive and is going to come back in the echo show they would not waste him on one episode of Hawkeye. Clint made it home for Christmas brought Kate and now we find out Laura is an ex shield agent or at least I think she is. Okay so that post credit scene all though it was good seeing a part of Rogers the musical I was hoping for something else like Fisk or something so a minor let down but other than that the episode has been great. Overall I loved this show from the first to the last episode it was amazing not a single episode was bad and the story was great I loved the relationship between Clint and Kate and the relationship between Kate and Yelena. Yelena was amazing and funny throughout the entire show. Kate is going to be an amazing Hawkeye. And kingpin was really good for the final episode and there is no way he is dead. I was kind of hoping this show was going to get me more excited for Echo but Maya Idk just didn’t really stand out for me but let’s hope her show changes that.
