Wonder Man
This was such a nice change of pace for an MCU project it just felt so unique and fresh and it was just amazing. I honestly had no expectations for this show whatsoever but it impressed me so much and I was genuinely so shocked how hooked I was. I love Trevor Slattery and this show just adds so much more depth to his characters and has genuinely made him such a great character Ben Kingsley does an incredible job. This show is just so much fun it’s funny it’s entertaining it’s got a lot of heart and it is just so well written, it’s not a superhero show it’s jus a show set in the MCU about a normal guy with super powers and it just works so well. I think what made this show so great is that it dint rely on the rest of the universe it works as its own thing and although it has connections like with the Mandarin it all gets explained quite well throughout and I’m really glad that the built upon that plot point rather than just ignoring it all together. Every episode was just so good and I loved the doorman episode it was just such a good episode and didn’t feel like a filler episode it connected to the story perfectly and explained a lot of the backstory of Simon’s situation. Yahya Abdul-Mateen was absolutely amazing as Simon and I honestly hope to see much more of wonderman going forward because he’s just such a great character.
