I first watched this when I was 9 (wayy too young to see this 😭) and it forever altered my life. I love this kind of horror movie hilarious but it had some genuinely terrifying moments. The Frank and Freddy plotline of them slowly dying has stuck with me. The “pain of being dead” scene still sends shivers down my spine. Love the subtext of Ernie being an ex Nazi in hiding and the subsequent irony of him being holed up in an attic at the end. One of the best zombie movies, perhaps one of the best horror movies imo 🍺
