Amadeus

I finally bit the bullet and signed up for the Criterion Channel. This had to be my first watch. A biopic about probably the greatest artist of all time told by his jealous friend/rival/shadow. This is such a grand film that shows the life of a tortured artist. Jealousy, rage, and obsession flood through the screen. Such beautiful cinematography, screenplay, and that score obviously is out of this world!! Please watch this film as soon as you can.
