Criterion Challenge 2023 14: Sundance hits
It’s quite rare for me to sit and look at my screen for minutes just staring and think about how marvelous a film was. It’s normally just a automatic pulling out of my phone so I can log a movie, not today. This is such a fucking “real” film I see myself completely in Mason’s character, I connect to his life. I just don’t see a flaw in this. Richard Linklater getting into my Goat conversation at this point, the man has a golden touch. Flawless filmmaking, Ten out of Ten.
