Despite all of the discourse surrounding awards season this year, I truly believe that this year will eventually be seen as a monumental year in film. This shit is really generational, so so so good. Career best performances from damn near everyone. So powerful, this is what movies are all about.

Haven’t watched this one since high school, but I’m happy to say it kinda holds up

I truly need my dumbass megachurch roommate and all of his church mates to watch this. A million times better than I ever expected it to be, beautifully shot, impeccably acted, one of the best films I’ve ever seen PERIOD.

Only true Casablanca watchers realize that Victor Laszlo is the coolest character in this movie and maybe of all time
