(Sorry for the grammar errors it’s past midnight for me and I’m tired 🥲) Recommended by Chiefkeyboard😲 Idk how to really start this review but I guess I’ll just do it now. This is a very interesting show with really good characters I found all of their bickering amusing to watch and genuinely entertaining so when it flipped the script i was surprised. I found nearly everything amazing but 3 things that bothered me (#1 isn’t valid anymore go to the bottom if you wanna know why but I just left it here for just keeping my original thoughts) 1. The message I have no idea what its trying to say.that you should let the world (or time) dictate what is possible ?? Idk maybe the more I think about it will come to me. It just felt a little clumsy in that area I find this important when rating a movie because if if doesn’t say anything or try to teach the audience something then I don’t find it all that useful and as intresting. So this will probably go up (currently a 3) once I learn more about it 2. The ending I did not like that ending. Everything was going on perfectly fine but in the snap of a finger okabes mindset just changes ?? It felt so sudden and jarring I wouldn’t mind if it had an ending like this, but it again felt so sudden. It’s the exact same critique for Evangelions last 2 episodes the show deserved something bigger and better 3. This is a small issue but the lack of depth in some characters. I wish it focused on some more characters like Luka she/he had an interesting character and idea but it just wasn’t fleshed out more and same goes for Faris the cat girl. I don’t care about her fathers (you know what) because I barley even know the character. Other than that I genuinely enjoyed the show I might even check out the sequel show which I’ve been told fixes the ending “problem” so now that this review is done here is just my reactions to each episode I wrote on my serializd account —--Episodes are marked with spoiler tags if necessary—— Ep1: Ahh ok cool concept also I find it funny how closely related me Okabe,and mayuri are we pretty much get distracted and happy from the dumbest shit while with okabe I be going on random ass rants all the time Ep2: Ok like hear me out ( if you know you know 😳) Ep3: (Spoiler) When mayuri opened the microwave to get the chicken tenders I felt that because that’s something I would do if I was hungry even if I knew the explosion could happen Ep4: Rintarou and Kurisu have some of the best chemistry I’ve ever seen I die every time their on screen both are hilarious Ep5: oh boy looks like it’s getting dark now Ep6: how does she text so fast Ep7: Oh so he has like a super power now thats cool I’m like so interested to see where this goes this show feels like it’s getting closer and closer to a breaking point Ep8: “Balls or not I would do hit that” 😭that’s actually fucking wild downbad to a whole different level Ep9:deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole we go Ep10: (spoiler)That’s actually crazy bro just grabbed his/her you know what like that 😭🙏🙏🙏 the hesitation was basically non existent Ep11: (spoiler)I find it so impressive how well this show balances horror and comedy. One moment it’s mayuri saying too too too with cosplay then the next is a text with a severed head I’m hoping it leans in more into the horror with the rest of the show Ep12:(spoiler) oh my god they killed mayuri 😭 you bastards Ep13: (spoiler)Why is mayuris death a canon event 😭 make it itaru Ep14: (spoiler)Bruh moment why did I not guess she was John Ep15: 🔥Wordtoyomother 🔥 Ep16: Pretty much guessed that Dara was the dad he was kinda the most disconnected out of all of the members so it made sense but damn him simping for his own daughter is crazy 😭 Ep17: Ngl kinda wish this was more of a sausage party than a clam jam there’s literally like 2 guys on the entire show (If ya know you know) Ep18: (spoiler) Thought they would kiss or something ngl but it was very sad to watch :( he just wanted to be a girl Ep19: (spoiler)I don’t think we’ll be losing anything valuable with moeka killing herself ngl Ep20: I’m fighting so many sleep paralysis demons right now it’s currently 3 I don’t think I can push watching it any further 😭 Ep21: (spoiler)It all comes back to the beginning seems like this is the start of the end Ep22: Welp I saw that ending coming but it still hurt now what ?
